Some Thoughts About Halloween

While reading Ephesians 5:8-17, I am reminded of some aspects concerning Halloween.

During the Halloween season...

#1 Darkness is Enhanced

-but-

THE LIGHT OF CHRIST DISPELS DARKNESS!

(John 8:12)

#2 Evil is Exalted

-but-

THE GOODNESS OF CHRIST OVERCOMES EVIL!

(Romans 12:12)

#3 Sin is Expected

-but-

THE MANIFESTATION OF CHRIST DESTROYS SIN!

(1 John 3:8)

#4 Death is Exploited

-but-

THE VICTORY OF CHRIST DEFEATS DEATH!

(1 Cor 15:55-57)

#5 Fear is Embraced

-but-

THE LOVE OF CHRIST CASTS OUT FEAR!

(1 John 4:18)

"For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light" -Ephesians 5:8
