A small church, with room to grow
Most Sundays there are somewhere around 50 of us. Plenty of folks have been coming here for most of their lives, and they’ll want to know your name and who your people are.
The service is plain: congregational singing out of the hymnbook, prayer, and preaching from the Bible. Nobody will put you on the spot. If you have children, bring them along.

How can I be saved?
The Bible answers it plainly, in five verses from the book of Romans.

Every one of us has sinned.

Sin earns death. Eternal life is a gift.

Believe on Him and confess Him.

Supper, singing and the Gospel
This September the church put on a big Fish Fry and Gospel Sing for the whole community: fried fish, gospel singing, and a good evening together.
We aim to do this the 3rd Saturday of September every year, Lord willing! When the next one is set, you’ll find it right here.

From Paintsville (about 25 minutes)
- Take KY 40 west out of town.
- Bear right onto KY 172 toward West Liberty and go about 7 miles.
- Turn right on KY 689 and go about a mile into Flat Gap.
- At the end of the road, turn left onto KY 1092, then take the first right onto Flat Gap Drive. The church is on your left.
